what is powertex?

Powertex is an environmentally friendly water based fabric hardener that gives form to crafts and decorations. Powertex is a liquid medium, ready to use, dries fast and is weather resistant.

Can also be combined with wood, concrete, sand, (but is not adhesive to plastic).

Powertex can be applied on canvas to create a beautiful texture , or you can create durable sculptures and jewelry!

Powertex Bronze, Terracotta, Ivory and Lead have a well balanced mixture of high quality pigments. The benefit of this is that these products are ready to use and do not require any adding of paint. The application possibilities and the quality are not comparable with any other available paints, powders or textile hardeners.

There is no other product available that provides such versatility and so many effects; that’s why we recommend POWERTEX & STONE ART for any craft or art project.

Powertex Transparent can be colored with the fabulous powdered pigments like Powercolor and Colortricx.

Your creation can also be painted with oils, acrylics.

Once applied, Powertex begins to dry and depending on temperature, it will stay flexible for quite a while. The  treated fabric can be draped, folded, pleated and manipulated in countless ways. When cured your object is very durable and hard.

TIP: When the Powertex is too thick, stir it with a FORK to make it smooth again.
